SAV & SONS LTD. has served Acre Lane and the surrounding streets since 1979. Three generations of customers have brought us their suits, coats, curtains and weekly wash, and the shop still runs the way it always has: careful work, fair prices and someone behind the counter who knows what they are doing.
Alongside dry cleaning we run a full launderette with commercial washers and dryers you can use yourself, cut keys while you wait, and handle shoe repairs in store. Everything happens here at 6 Acre Lane — nothing is sent away to a processing plant.

We'll explain what needs to be done and confirm the service and price before we begin. Our team may need to confirm prices or information with the owner, so may need to get back to you — all work is priced and checked over by the owner to ensure the best results. You'll then be given a collection ticket, so please keep this safe as you'll need it when collecting your item.

Bring your ticket when collecting
Once your item is ready, simply return to the shop with your collection ticket. We'll use this to locate your order and hand your item back to you.

Care & liability
What you should know before leaving items with us.
All garments washed or left unattended in our self-service launderette are cleaned, washed and dried at the owner’s risk.
During dry cleaning, while every care is taken when handling your items, SAV & SONS cannot accept responsibility for garments with labels indicating dry-clean-only or the “P” symbol that may then suffer damage, colour loss, shrinkage, fading, deterioration or any other change during cleaning, washing or drying. Further details are displayed clearly in store.
Please ensure all care labels and manufacturer’s instructions are followed before leaving your items with us. If we have any concerns about an item, we will discuss these with you before proceeding where possible.
