For over 46 years, SAV & SONS LTD has been looking after the local community from our shop on Acre Lane. Since 1979, we’ve provided professional dry cleaning, alterations, service washes, self-service laundry, key cutting and shoe repairs — all under one roof.

Dry Cleaning
We take great care of your clothes, using professional cleaning methods to leave your garments looking fresh, clean and beautifully presented. From everyday clothing to suits, dresses, coats and delicate items, we treat every garment with care.
Bring your items into the shop and we'll assess them with you, check the care labels and identify any areas that may need special attention. All work is carried out on-site, with garments hand-finished where required for the best possible result.

Alterations
From simple adjustments to more detailed alterations, we can help make your clothes fit just the way you want them — from fitted jackets to simply shortening items. For any of your alteration needs, please contact us.
Bring your garment into the shop and we'll discuss exactly what's needed, advise you on the best approach and confirm the price before any work begins. Alterations are completed by hand and machine, depending on the garment and work required.

Service Wash
Short on time? Let us do the washing for you. Our professional service wash takes care of washing, drying and folding, leaving your laundry fresh, clean and ready to put away. Whether it's general clothing, bedding or anything else needed.
Let us take care of the washing and drying for you — simply drop off your clothing, duvets or blankets and our team will clean and dry everything on-site, ready for you to collect. Ideal when you're short on time or simply prefer to leave it to us.

Self-Service Launderette
Our laundry service is ideal for busy households, larger items and everyday laundry for your own convenience. If you need help on arrival there will always be a member of staff around to help guide you step by step.
A full self-service launderette with commercial-grade washers and dryers, available to use in store at your convenience. Choose from small, medium and large washing machines — all with a built-in spin-dry program which lessens your drying time and saves you money on drying — along with powerful dryers, all with clearly displayed, fixed prices. Self-service machines are cash only. There's seating available while you wait, and our team is on hand if you need change or advice on choosing the right machine.

Key Cutting & Batteries
Need a spare key? Our convenient key cutting service makes getting a replacement quick and easy. Household keys and door entry fobs, available Monday–Friday, 8am–6:30pm.
Convenient key cutting and battery replacement, carried out in store while you wait. We cut household and padlock keys on the spot, provide door fob services and replace car and watch batteries. Bring your original key or battery in and we'll make sure everything is checked before you leave.

Shoe Repairs
Give your favourite footwear a new lease of life with our professional shoe repair service.
Professional shoe repairs to help extend the life of your favourite footwear. From replacing worn heels and soles to specialist stiletto repairs, bring your shoes into the shop and we'll assess them for you, explain what can be done and confirm the price before any work begins.
